Incorporating 50% Affordable Housing Units
In 2019, Atlas introduced an innovative project at 1830 Alemany Boulevard with 50% of the units designated as Below Market Rate (BMR) units. Despite challenges from the entitlement process and the Covid-19 pandemic, Atlas successfully completed construction, delivering 116 residential units, including 58 affordable housing units. This exemplified Atlas' commitment to voluntary affordable housing and self-funding. Additionally, Atlas allocated 5 units to empower transition-age foster youth aged 18 to 25.
